Newsletter Terms

1. Data Processing

We process the following information when you subscribe:

• Email address — for newsletter delivery and discount verification
• IP address — for rate limiting and abuse prevention (retained 30 days)
• User agent — for security and device-type analytics
• Subscription date + source — for audit and compliance

2. Message Types

We send two distinct categories of email:

• Marketing newsletter — product updates, new features, occasional promotions. Unsubscribe any time.
• Transactional emails — license expiry reminders, payment receipts, security alerts. These are NOT marketing and continue even after unsubscribe.

3. Unsubscribe

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using these methods:

1. Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every marketing email
2. Visit tivitap.com/unsubscribe with the token from your email
3. Email [email protected] with subject "Unsubscribe"

Unsubscribe is processed instantly. Transactional emails (license, payment) continue regardless.

4. Data Retention

Retention periods for your subscription data:

• Active subscription — for as long as you stay subscribed
• After unsubscribe — email kept 30 days as proof of opt-out, then deleted
• IP address + user agent — 30 days, then permanently deleted

5. Third-Party Sharing

We <strong>do NOT sell, rent, or share</strong> your email with third parties. Newsletter delivery uses our own SMTP infrastructure within the EU. No external email marketing platform (Mailchimp, Sendgrid, etc.) sees your data.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a TiviTap newsletter subscriber, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object — object to processing for direct marketing
• Portability — receive your data in a structured format
